Shame on you, San Ramon BofA!

It seems to me that due to poor cash flow this branch puts a hold on large checks to earn some free interest. Peter Lin (the teller) at this branch and Miguel gave me misleading info that they will take my issue to the manager and my funds will be available on Monday instead of Thursday and the Manager will call me back on Monday to confirm. It's Tuesday already- NO CALL BACK ever since, my money have already left my other account and still not available to use !!! If I only knew that this will be the case, I could of used the wire-transfer instead, instead of relying on their tellers' words. I do not know any other bank that would hold their customers funds for over a week, make promises to deal with the issue and IGNORING and NOT CALLING BACK!!! It looks like this bank encourages their TELLER TO LIE TO THE CUSTOMERS, so they can steal the funds to earn money for their Branch! Now, I cannot lock my refinance rate because of these LIERS! I'm closing off all my accounts with them as soon as this nightmare is over! BEWARE! BANK like this one should not be in business!

If you have 20 minutes to kill you can try and call the bank. After you wait, you get a line with static that puts you in a hold postion. During that time, a clear automated voice comes on that you have been randomly selected to participate in a three minute survey at the end of the call. After that, someone actually picks up the phone and irritates the heck out of you with trying to fetermine that it is you taht they are actually speaking to. I can go on, but I am just going to go down to my local branch and close out my account. Yes.... I am that agitaged by the call.

If I could give this branch LESS THAN ZERO I would. They used to be great, before they REDESIGNED their branch so it only serves a few customers at a time. One of the tellers told me they are making customers wait ON PURPOSE, so it'll 'force' us to USE THE ATM. The last time my husband did that, it ate his check. Took them TWO WEEKS to credit his account.

I've written maybe 3 reviews in my life. But this branch of Bank of America is SO BAD, so disrespectful of our time, and desire to BANK WITH A TELLER AND NOT ATM verges on obscene.

Try WFB across the street. It's a much better experience and they actually answer thier phones. :-)
