The staff are quiet...too quiet, no smiles, not friendly and no one asking if we needed anything. A basket with 2 naan bread was dropped on the table, but never refilled or even asked if we needed more. Water was hard to get and I never got my diet coke either.
Very good Indian food. Buffet is well stocked even when the place is busy. Prices were reasonable.
Ambience is quite good and food was delicious. Speciality of the place is "Baigan Vertha"
Wow, where do I start! Four of us tried this restaurant and it felt like we were breaking up a private party by walking in the door. The greeting was cold and disinterested. We were put at a table in the service isle by a back kitchen, it was loud and cluttered. The service was very slow, our order was not taken for 10 minutes or so. We ended up getting the buffet. Big mistake!! Poor selection, dried up food, empty trays and cold basmati rice. Customers seemed confused and were wandering around looking for more food options.
I honestly cannot think of one good reason to try this restaurant again. Too bad too, its a good location but with mediocre customer service and food. People will not be lining up to try this place a second time!
The service at the buffet is bad. They take a very long time to bring naan, sometimes you have to ask more than once, and then they ignore you. They told us to leave at 2:00pm sharp because they were closing the buffet. Okay, but was it necessary to tell me to leave before I finished the food on my plate? The one in Hayward is much better.
Really not my favorite for sure. Some vegetarian dishes looked stale and the gulabjamuns tasted real bad. Slow Service. It's Wastage of Money to go there. Rather go to other places for buffet.
